Scutte (pronounced “scoot”) is a San Francisco based pet apparel company. We are hip, stylish and eco-friendly! Scutte was created to fill a void in the pet apparel market for sustainable, classic pet clothing that also reflects urban sensibility and style. We want to bring out the “cool” in your canine!

Let’s face it – small dogs get cold, and if you live in a city where it gets chilly, you’re probably throwing a top or jacket on your pup. In a world where pet fashion is a growing rage, it’s hard to find some everyday simple clothes for your pup. Who wants to dress up everyday? …Certainly not me, and I’m sure your dog doesn’t want to either.

Flashback. New Year’s Day, 2009. This is the day my new baby puppy came home. I had been searching for some cool clothes for him to wear, but to my dismay I could not find anything that I liked… simple, like a plain red t-shirt or hoodie. All I could find were novelty shirts saying “princess” or “stud” or other outfits that were so over the top adorable/precious that it made me feel a little silly even thinking about buying them (since I am hardly a foo foo type)…

At this point I realized the only way I could have the clothes I wanted was if I started my own line… and Scutte was born.
