So, I’m not sure where I was or what I was doing when the media announced the passing of Bea Arthur the other day, but I found out last night and was completely devastated! I really <3′d Bea, I’ve been a Golden Girls fan since the mid 80’s. I used to watch the Golden Girls with my dad as a kid, and today I still watch it when it’s on (or one of my many Golden Girls DVDs.
Bea Arthur was great, and I guess I need to cross her off of my short list of people I’d like to shoot (photographs of), boo. Oh man, I’m getting old now, all of the people I watched on tv as as a kid are either up there or gone now.
I took a “Which Golden Girl Are You” Facebook quiz, and it told me I’m Dorothy (I already k new this though… just like the Sex and the City quiz told me I’m Carrie Bradshaw). Even though Bea Arthur is no longer with us, Dorothy Zsbornak will live forever! RIP Bea, we will miss you!
